People on the moveEvelyn Smith is a finalist for the Jewell Award, an honor presented to women who give generously and selflessly for the benefit of the community. Smith is active in more than 20 organizations and is a supporter of civil rights, the art museum and botanical garden, the League of Women Voters and Arizona State University's College of Fine Arts.Glenn Bacal, chair of the Intellectual Property Practice at Quarles & Brady Streich Lang, has been listed in the latest edition of "The Best Lawyers in America, 2001-2002" and is also the principal author of "The Practical Lawyer's 2001 Guide to Internet Research." Classic Residence by Hyatt and The Plaza Companies have been awarded a Silver Achievement Award in the Best of Seniors' Housing Design Awards 2001 in the "Large Continuing Care Retirement Community and Congregate Care Community" category.
