Leisah Namm has been promoted to assistant editor at the Jewish News. She has been with the paper since January 2000.

Dr. Allison P. Coudert, professor of religious studies and a member of the Jewish Studies Program at Arizona State University, has been awarded membership and a stipend in Princeton University's Institute for Advanced Study for the academic year 2001-2002.

Kay Mule, Greta Mang and Joan Sloan received Volunteer Spotlight Awards from the Maricopa Retired and Senior Volunteer Program in recognition of their volunteer efforts in the community.

Bart Lasner, originally of Phoenix, now of Tucson, has been named Manager of the Year by Loew's Ventana Canyon Resort.
