Jerusalem art

The exhibit "Jerusalem: Where Heaven and Earth Meet" opens 1-4 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at The Sylvia Plotkin Judaica Museum, Temple Beth Israel, 10460 N. 56th St., Scottsdale.

Jerusalem has inspired craftsmen and artists throughout the centuries to create monuments and works of art celebrating the idea that Jerusalem is the center point of the world. This new exhibition, which runs through May 30, highlights both the ancient and the modern, seen through the eyes of contemporary artists.
