Documentary pieces 'fragments' of Jerusalem

"Fragments: Jerusalem," a detailed and emotionally evocative journey through Jerusalem's past and present, will be featured in four installments beginning 9 p.m. Monday, March 5, on the Sundance Channel.

The remaining three installments will run at 9 p.m. March 12, 19 and 26.

Filmmaker Ron Havilio was born in the divided Jerusalem of 1950, into a family that traces its roots in the city for 500 years. To illustrate the saga of his family and city, he uses artifacts, interviews, paintings, still photographs, old newspapers, phonograph records, postcards, 19th-century archival film and home movies.

Check cable listings for channel.
