ASU promotes 'Journey to Poland'

The Arizona State University Jewish Studies Program is hosting meetings to promote the "Journey to Poland," 3:30-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, and 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, in private homes.

The trip is June 27-July 11. There is an optional Berlin extension, July 9-11. Cost is $2,800, which includes airfare from Phoenix, hotels, ground transportation, transfers, seminars, admissions and guides. A $250 deposit should be made no later than March 15. Applications received after April 28 will be accepted on space availability.

This is an opportunity to study the impact of Auschwitz on contemporary culture and to explore Kazimierz, Krakow's "Left Bank" and Jewish quarter of hotels, cafés and restaurants.

Call Naomi Goodell, 480-727-7217.
