Obituaries

Eleanor Benjamin

Eleanor J. Benjamin of Sun City died Feb. 11, 2001. She was 81. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Sun City in 1978. She was a homemaker, saleswoman and secretary; and a member of Temple Beth Shalom, Hadassah, Organization for Rehabilitation and Training, National Organization of Women and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Survivors include her husband, Sam; sons, Robert, Jerry and Philip; sister, Lydia Gordon; brother, Milton Klein; and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Temple Beth Shalom. Arrangements were by Best Funeral Services. Contributions are suggested to Temple Beth Shalom, 12202 101st Ave., Sun City 85351.



Bernice Weinstein

Bernice Weinstein of Scottsdale died Feb. 12, 2001. She was 77. She was born in Detroit and moved to Arizona 15 years ago. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Abraham; sons Neil Weinstein and Elliot Salk, both of Scottsdale; and four grandchildren.

Services were held at Green Acres Cemetery. Contributions are suggested to Har Zion Congregation, 6140 E. Thunderbird Road, Scottsdale 85254.
