Sherri Lynn Malamud, daughter of Evelyn Malamud of Scottsdale, and Mitchel Malamud of Las Vegas, will become a bat mitzvah Feb. 17, 2001, at Temple Chai.

Samantha Michelle Sheiner, daughter of Marla and Neal Sheiner of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah Feb. 17, 2001, at Temple Beth Israel.
