Laura Charnofsky, daughter of Deena and Howard Charnofsky of Tempe, will become a bat mitzvah Jan. 13, 2001, at Temple Emanuel.
Grandparents are Neal and Karen Brown of Tucson; and Sol and Elaine Charnofsky of Phoenix.

Alexander Lewis Martinsen, son of Arlene and Lewis Martinsen of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Jan. 13, 2001, at Temple Beth Israel.
