Obituaries

Milton Bonn

Milton J. Bonn of Phoenix died Dec. 20, 2000. He was 89. He was born in Midland, Pa., and moved to Arizona 41 years ago from New York. He was a retired beverage company owner and bowling alley developer. He was past chairman and member of The American Jewish Committee, and was honored with AJC's Human Relations Award in 1978. He was a member of the Arizona Biltmore Country Club, the Masons and Temple Beth Israel.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; sons, Paul and Jeffrey, both of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel, with Rabbi Kenneth I. Segel and Rabbi Robert L. Kravitz officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to The American Jewish Committee, 3443 N. Central Ave., Phoenix 85012.



Richard Mandel

Richard M. Mandel of Scottsdale died Dec. 21, 2000. He was 68. He was born in Chicago and was a retired federal employee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and president of Stonehaven Homeowner's Association.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; daughters, Naomi of Tempe and Amy Munoz of Tucson; sister, Charlotte Browning of Pembroke Pine, Fla.; and brother, Loring of Somers, N.Y.

Services were held at Paradise Memorial Gardens, with Rabbi Mark Bisman officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association, 9034 N. 23rd Ave., #9B, Phoenix 85021.



Sally Greenburg

Sally E. Greenburg of Tempe died Dec. 27, 2000. She was 53. She was born in Boston and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Irwin; daughter, Tammy of Tempe; son, Todd of Chandler; mother, Sarah Poole of Phoenix; sister, Mary Sieckowski of Oklahoma; and one grandchild.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel, with Rabbi David Pinkwasser officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to American Academy of Neurology Education and Research Foundation, 2221 University Ave. S.E., #335, Minneapolis, MN 55414.



Jacob Nathenson

Jacob Nathenson of Phoenix died Dec. 29, 2000. He was 91. He was born in Denver and moved to Arizona 15 years ago from Wyoming. He was a retired jewelry merchant and a member of Temple Solel.

Survivors include his son, Stephen of Phoenix; brother, Irving of Denver; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held in Denver. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Mount Sinai Synagogue, 2610 Pioneer Ave., Cheyenne, WY 82001.



Harold Clark

Harold Clark of Phoenix died Jan. 1, 2001. He was 69. He was born in New York City and moved to Arizona 25 years ago from Connecticut. He was an art and antique appraiser and was a member of the International Association of Art Appraisers.

Survivors include his partner, Burt Drucker of Scottsdale; and sister, Iris Roswell of Sedona.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Nijinsky Found- ation, P. O. Box 15981, Phoenix, 85060.



Edith Liszt

Edith S. Liszt of Chandler died Dec. 31, 2000. She was 82. She was born in Kansas City, Mo., and moved to Arizona 40 years ago from Kansas City, Kan. She was a retired real estate agent.

Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Steinberg of Sunnyvale, Calif.; son, Neil of Phoenix; brothers, Bennie, Dave and George Studna, all of Kansas City, Kan.; and three grandchildren.

Services were held at Beth El Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Chandler Villas, 101 S. Yucca St., Chandler, 85224.



Allen Roeder

Allen Roeder of Scottsdale died Jan. 1, 2001. He was 75. He was born in Rottweil, Germany, and moved to Arizona in 1998 from New York. He owned Roxter Manufacturing Corporation in Long Island, N.Y. for 45 years. He was a U.S. Army staff sergeant in World War II. He was a member of Temple Beth Israel and B'nai B'rith.

Survivors include his wife, Helga; sons, Jeff and Cliff, both of Scottsdale; sisters, Hanna Adler of Linden, N.J., and Ellen Lemberger of Garnersville, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Temple Beth Israel, Museum Fund, 10460 N. 56th St., Scottsdale, 85253.



Noah Clark

Noah M. Clark of Phoenix died Jan. 2, 2001. He was 40. He was born in Phoenix and appeared in several movies.

Survivors include his daughter, Kadance of Phoenix; mother, Martha of Phoenix; sister, Andrea Trimble-Hart of Minnetonka, Minn.; and brother, Fred of Chandler.

Services were held at Beth El Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary.
