Professional conference focuses on divorce aid

A Collaborative Divorce Training Conference for family law attorneys, mental health professionals and financial planners, will be held 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19 and Saturday, Jan. 20, at Embassy Suites Hotel Stonecreek The Golf Club, 4435 E. Paradise Village Parkway South, Paradise Valley.

Talia Katz, family law attorney, and Vicki Carpel-Miller, marriage and family therapist, have organized the workshop to train professionals in a collaborative divorce model intended to assist divorcing couples in dissolving marriages through problem-solving rather than an adversarial process.

Cost is $565, or $495 for five or more participants.

Call Katz, 602-953-7688, or Carpel-Miller, 602-550-7170.
