Obituaries

Frank Rubin

Frank L. Rubin of Santa Rosa died Dec. 1, 2000. He was 80. He was born in New York and lived in Scottsdale until moving to Sonoma County three years ago.

Survivors include his sons, Steven of Monterey, Calif., and Paul; daughters, Laurie Rubin and Janet Landesberg; sister, Nina Tamber; brother, Morty; and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Santa Rosa Memorial Park Chapel. Arrangements were by Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home. Contributions are suggested to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, P.O. Martha Horowitz

Martha Horowitz of Surprise died Dec. 8, 2000. She was 73. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Arizona in 1993. She was a homemaker and donated her time at Del Webb Hospital producing calendars for the extended care patients. She was an avid Mahjong player.

Survivors include her husband Charlie; daughter, Merrie of Florida; sons, Michael of California, and Steven and Richie, both of Arizona; sister, Florence Lebenson of Massachusetts; brother, Hesh Deixler of New Jersey; and four grandchildren.

Services were held at Sunland Lakeside Chapel. Arrangements were by Sunland Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Del Webb Hospital, 14502 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West 85375.
