YLD seeks mitzvah volunteers

The Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix is inviting participation in three community service projects Sunday, Nov. 19.

Twenty to 50 volunteers are needed to interact with children and do manual labor at the Child Crisis Center 10-11:30 a.m. The location will be shared through e-mail.

Ten to 30 volunteers at New Way Learning Academy, A Unique School for Children with Learning Differences, will read books on tape and clean up the school from their annual fund-raiser. The school is located at 1300 N. 77th St., Scottsdale.

Twenty to 40 volunteers are needed to play softball and make sundaes with families of AIDS Project Arizona, Pediatric AIDS families, 2:30-4:30 p.m. at El Dorado Park, 2311 N. Miller Road, Scottsdale.
