Gift mart benefits families

The Junior League of Phoenix is holding Gift Mart 2000 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Nov. 10-12, at WestWorld, 16601 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale.

A kick-off luncheon on Nov. 10 will feature guest speaker Gerda Klein, author and columnist.

The Gift Mart will feature toys, jewelry, clothing, home accessories, gourmet foods and other items from more than 70 merchants.

All proceeds benefit community programs whose focus is "strengthening the family."

Tickets are $5, children 12 and under are free.
