Jacob H. Beckerman, son of Linda Ries and Ira Beckerman, both of New Cumberland, Pa., became a bar mitzvah Sept. 23, 2000, at Temple Beth Shalom in Mechanicsburg, Pa.
Grandparents are Lillian and Leo Beckerman of Scottsdale; and Evelyn and Jack Ries of Jamestown, Pa.

Brandon Alex Kordower, son of Joyce and Larry Kordower of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Oct. 7, 2000, at Temple Chai.
Grandparents are Helen Padnick and Leon Kordower of Scottsdale; and the late Solomon Padnick and Shirley Kordower.

Erica Kady Sankey, daughter of Linda and Ronald Sankey of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Oct. 7, 2000, at Temple Chai.
