Rabbi addresses High Holidays at Herberger

"Sound...the Lecture," a pre-High Holiday lecture by Rabbi Aaron Lopiansky sponsored by The Orthodox Rabbinical Council of Greater Phoenix, will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, at the Herberger Theater, 222 E. Monroe St., Phoenix.

Lopiansky is the senior lecturer and head of The Yeshiva of the Nation's Capitol in Washington, D.C. He is also the editor in chief of Machon Maharal-The Maharal Institute based in Jerusalem, which is presently involved in the publication of an edition of the mystical Kabbalistic writings of Rabbi Judah Loew of Prague.
