Hillel offers free trip to Israel

Registration is underway for a free 10-day trip to Israel during winter break for Jewish college students at Arizona State University, ages 18-26, courtesy of Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life.

Hillel's Birthright Israel trip, underwritten by Birthright Israel, offers students a chance to tour the country's most popular contemporary and historical sites. The itinerary includes Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, the Dead Sea and the Galilee region. Registration is being conducted online at www.hillel.org and closes Oct. 5.

Initiated by philanthropists Charles R. Bronfman and Michael H. Steinhardt, Birthright Israel is a philanthropic Jewish outreach program. Its mission is to present lifelong Jewish values to Jewish young adults worldwide through a first educational peer-group trip to Israel.
