People on the moveKatie Goldberg has joined the Jewish News staff as a receptionist/sales assistant. She has 20 years of receptionist and administrative assistant experience. Born in Czechoslovakia and raised in Israel and Montreal, she moved to the United States when she was 10. She most recently lived in Chicago. She is the mother of three sons.Lee Shapiro has been named western division training manager for Welcome Wagon, an organization that has been welcoming new home buyers since 1928. She was previously the Arizona regional manager. Barbara Leff has been named 2000 Legislator of the Year by the National Republican Legislators Association. Leff lead the passage of Arizona's HMO Reform bill of 2000. She is serving her second term representing District 24 and is the chairwoman of the House Commerce Committee. Fran Mallace has been promoted to vice president and general manager of CableRep Advertising's metro Phoenix operation. Mallace joined CableRep as National Sales Manager in 1992. Fernando Camino has joined Wells Fargo Securities and Private Client Services as vice president and regional sales manager for financial consulting. He was previously the head of proprietary brokerage distribution for the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa. Rino D's Pizza & Wings has opened a second location at Alma School and Baseline roads in Mesa. The original location is at Gilbert and Baseline roads in Gilbert. World Class Spa Tours, which offers vacations to mineral springs, baths and spas, has opened for business in Phoenix. Beginning Aug. 26, GateWay Community College will offer a nurse assistant program at the Maricopa Skill Center Southwest Campus in Avondale. Doug Bauguss has formed a partnership with three other firms to create America on Hold, a company that will provide custom on-hold marketing messages. Bauguss will head western operations. Daniel Rodriquez has joined the Wells Fargo Business Banking group. His position will focus on new business development and relationship management for small businesses. |
