Obituaries

Alexander Dokhman

Alexander V. Dokhman of Glendale died July 20, 2000. He was 77.

He was born in Russia and was a retired industrial engineer for the Russian government.

Survivors include his daughter, Mara Lvova of Glendale; sister, Anna Zabarka of Russia; and one grandchild.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel, with Rabbi David Pinkwasser officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary.

Contributions are suggested to Fellowship Towers, 222 E. Indianola Ave., Phoenix 85012.



Allan Goodman

Allan E. Goodman of Sun City died July 18, 2000. He was 64.

He was born in Philadelphia. He was a retired agent for the state of Arizona and served in the U.S. Army. He was a former partner of Goodman's Office Furnishings and was a former owner and breeder of thoroughbred racehorses. He was a member of Temple Beth Israel and a past president of Lewkowitz Lodge B'nai B'rith.

Survivors include his wife, Libbi; son, Stuart of Scottsdale; brother, Murray of Phoenix; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel, with Hazzan Howard Tabaknek officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary.

Contributions are suggested to Kivel Care Center, 3020 N. 36th St., Phoenix 85018.



Sharon Greenband

Sharon Greenband of Phoenix died July 21, 2000. She was 89.

She was born in Ogden, Utah, and was a retired paralegal.

Survivors include her nephew, Jonathan Greenband of Salt Lake City.

Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary.

Sam Ostrov

Sam Ostrov of Scottsdale died July 23, 2000. He was 95.

He was born in Poland. He was a retired restaurant executive.

Survivors include his wife, Reva; daughters, Anna Levin, Raelene Tuteur and Gail Anzman, all of Denver, and Wendy Jacobs of Hamden, Conn.; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Paradise Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary.
