People on the moveTemple Beth Israel has appointed Bob Liebman as the director of youth services. Liebman has nearly 30 years of experience working with youth throughout the Valley, both in religious and secular environments. He previously served as the director of the Tikvah Program and Camp Ramah in California for eight years. In addition, he has served as a youth group advisor, a BBYO Israel Experience leader, and executive director of the Mitzvah Corps Foundation. Liebman has a master's degree in counseling and career counseling and is currently working on a doctorate at Arizona State University.Phoenix attorney David J. Bodney will participate in an American Bar Association convention titled "Privacy, Paparazzi, and the Press," in London on July 18. Bodney is a partner at the Phoenix office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP and serves as adjunct faculty at Arizona State University, where he teaches media law. Phoenix law firms Streich Lang PA and Quarles & Brady LLP have announced their merger. In Arizona, the firm will be known as Quarles & Brady Streich Lang LLP and be part of Quarles & Brady LLP's national practice. The board of directors of M&I Thunderbird Bank named Dennis R. Jones chairman of the board and chief executive officer. Paul V. Brodt has been appointed president and chief operating officer. The Myers Group has appointed Joshua G. Myers as vice president of finance of New Era Financial Services and general manager of the company's manufactured home subdivision. Margot Dorfman, publisher of Arizona Women's News, has been named the co-chairwoman of the "Culture of Women in Business" conference.
