Obituaries

Allen Blum

Allen Blum of Phoenix died June 12, 2000. He was 73.

He was born in Philadelphia. He was a retired salesman.

Survivors include his daughters, Wendy Zepeda of Phoenix, and Nina of Scottsdale; sons, Jeffrey of Kensington, N.H., Andrew of Tempe, and Robert of Tucson; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Paradise Memorial Gardens, with Rabbi Mark Bisman officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary.

Gregory Fabricant

Gregory Fabricant of Phoenix died June 10, 2000. He was 33.

He was born in Phoenix. He was a bereavement counselor.

Survivors include his wife, Charlene; his mother, Laura of Paradise Valley; and his brother, Jay of Phoenix.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary.

Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix 85014.



Bess Friedman

Bess L. Friedman of Scottsdale died June 7, 2000. She was 86.

She was born in Chicago and moved to Arizona 19 years ago from Detroit. She was a distrct manager for Field Enterprises. She was a member of Jewish Women International and Har Zion Congregation.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Gottlieb of Pigeon, Mich.; son, Howard of Scottsdale; sisters, Rose Golden, Ida Sanders, Eleanor Horvath and Shirley Stein, all of California; brothers, David Stein of Dayton, Ohio, and Hy Stein of Petosky, Mich.; five grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.

Graveside services were held at Green Acres Cemetery, with Rabbi Mark Bisman officiating. Arrangements were by Green Acres Mortuary.

Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association, 1280 S. Parker Road, Denver, CO 80231.



Paul Gombrich

Paul J. Gombrich of Fountain Hills died June 11, 2000. He was 93.

He was born in Austria.

Survivors include his wife, Regina; son, Mark; and daughter, Erica West, all of Fountain Hills; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary.
