Linda B. Rosenthal, a 20-year member of the Maricopa Community College District Governing Board, has received two national honors from the Association of Community College Trustees. These are the Trus-tee of the Year Award, given by the American Association of Women in Community Colleges; and the 2000 Pacific Regional Trustee Leadership Award, to be presented June 16, for leadership, dedication, commitment to equality positive impact on other trustees and concern for community college issues throughout the country.

Mary Westheimer has been appointed chief executive officer and chairwoman of BookZone, Inc., an electronic publishing community. Westheimer served as executive director of the Arizona Authors' Association; internal vice president and a founding member of the Arizona Book Publishing Association; Publishers Marketing Association board member; president of VIA Press; journalism and copyrighting instructor; and a workshop and seminar facilitator.

Phoenix Children's Hospital welcomes Dave Eitland, as the major gift manager for the hospital's foundation. He will oversee gifts to the hospital totaling $25,000 or more. He has 15 years experience in major gift fund raising and planned giving.

Immanuel Campus of Care has announced the appointment of Walter J. Nieri as medical director of the campus. He is certified in internal medicine and geriatrics, and has been working at the campus since Feb. 15. He is also a certified long-term care medical director and the program director for the Sun Health/St. Joseph's Geriatric Fellowship Program.

Jason Harris, CEO and founder of Harris Technologies, Inc., has been nominated for Ernst & Young's Arizona Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Harris Technologies is a Gilbert-based computer and software resale company.
