Holocaust memorial concert

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's western regional office presents a chamber music concert 7 p.m. Monday, May 8, at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts, 7380 E. Second St., Scottsdale.

The concert features Lukas Foss' "Anne Frank for Piano and Cello", a tone poem about her life and death; Ernst Toch's "Cello Sonata,"; Benjamin Lees' "Piano Sonata, Silent Voices"; Agi Jambor's "Piano Sonata, to the Victims of Auschwitz"; and Shelia Silver's "Piano Trio, to the Spirit of the Unconquered."

Performers include Steven Honigberg on cello, Kathryn Brake on piano, and George Marsh on violin.
