JCC holds Maccabi meeting

The Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center will hold a JCC Maccabi Games informational meeting for interested young athletes and their parents on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m. at Shadow Mountain High School, 30th Street and Shea Boulevard in Phoenix.

The Maccabi Games are an athletic competition and cultural experience for Jewish teenagers. The 2000 Arizona games will be held in Tucson on Aug. 3-9. All Jewish teens who are at least 13 and will not yet be 17 as of Aug. 1 are eligible.
