Picture Carol, a woman in her mid-60s, sitting at the kitchen table during early November and instead of planning out her Thanksgiving menu, she is filling a pill organizer for her Mom and plotting her Mom’s doctor’s appointments on a calendar.

Somehow, the retirement that she always dreamed of never looked like this. This was her time to travel, take up a hobby, visit her daughter and grandkids that live out of state. Feeling isolated and frustrated, Carol glances over at her Mom sitting on the sofa watching TV.
