The Bureau of Jewish Education will offer several summer classes in June. They include:

• “The Roots of Jewish Mythology: From Solomon’s Demons through Midrashic Tales”: 10:30 a.m. Mondays, June 5-26. Taught by Sharonah Frederick, PhD. Cost: $52.

• “Angels in the Hebrew Bible”: 10:45 a.m. Tuesdays, June 6-27. Taught by Marcie Lee, MSW. Cost: $62.

• “Artful Encounters with 20th-Century Israeli Art”: noon Tuesdays, June 6-27. Taught by Marcie Lee, MSW. Cost: $62.

• “Don’t Mess With the Jews: Jewish Heroism”: 1:10 p.m. Tuesdays, June 6-27. Taught by Marcie Lee, MSW. Cost: $42.

• “The Bible’s Firsts”: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 8. Taught by Rabbi Bonnie Koppell. Cost: $52.

• “Journey of the Soul: An Exploration of Life, Death & What Lies Beyond”: 1:40 p.m. Thursdays, June 8-22. Taught by Rabbi Yossi Bryski. Cost: $52.

• “The Meaning & Origin of the Promised Land”: 9:30 a.m. Fridays, June 9-30. Taught by Terry Daughtrey. Cost: $62.
