Scottsdale Community College has received two 2016 Videographer Awards, including an Award of Excellence for its Genocide Awareness Week video and an Award of Distinction for its Graduation 2015 video. The college also earned an Honorable Mention for its Homecoming 2015 video. The three videos were produced by the office of Institutional Advancement and Community Engagement, led by Executive Director Nancy Neff. Doryen Chin, a student in the Scottsdale School of Film+Theatre at SCC, served as videographer and editor for each of the videos while completing an internship with the department in 2015-16.

“We are so pleased to receive this recognition, particularly for the Genocide Awareness Week video, which so aptly captures the emotion, significance and historical awareness the event brings each year through a week-long series of lectures, panels, exhibits and performances,” said Neff.
