The Valley’s Jewish population has grown rapidly in recent years — now topping 100,000 — which presents a number of new challenges and opportunities.

Addressing those issues at a special panel discussion on Nov. 28 were Marty Haberer, executive director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, Rabbi Mari Chernow of Temple Chai and Richard Kasper, president and CEO of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix. The event was held at Temple Solel and was presented by Valley Beit Midrash.
