Through Jan. 23, 2016, teens are encouraged to implement service projects in their communities and log them onto the Governor’s Youth Commission (GYC) website, beseenbeheard.az.gov as part of a competition among youth in the state’s 15 counties. The county with the most projects will receive special recognition from the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family. The GYC was founded in 1989 to engage youth through innovative programs, events and campaigns that serve their communities.
