Families Giving Back is coordinating a community volunteer project to provide Thanksgiving meals for families in need. Families or groups are encouraged to purchase and/or collect Thanksgiving food items and grocery gift cards, then assemble meal bags at home or school and drop them off at a Thanksgiving food drive and meal assembly event 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 at Pardes Jewish Day School, 12753 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale. A list of requested items is available at the organization’s website, familiesgivingback.org.
