When Marilyn and Joel Zolondek moved from New York to the Valley in 1971, they had never been here before and didn’t have jobs. “We were young and idealistic,” Marilyn says. Since then, the Zolondeks have become valued members of the Jewish community. On May 9, Jewish Free Loan of Greater Phoenix will honor the couple for their many contributions to the community.
