As a 13-year-old boy, Morris Callaman was living on the streets of Phoenix. Put up for adoption when he was 2, Callaman slipped through a series of foster homes before he ran away after eighth grade. He lived in six different states and went to 13 elementary schools before coming to Arizona. 

Today, Callaman, 43, is a successful Valley businessman, attorney and entrepreneur, as well as president of the Arizona Jewish Lawyers Association. The reason for his success: “I fell down a lot the first dozen or so years of my life, but I learned to get up earlier than most (people).”
