The key issues confronting women in 2018 are health care and reproductive rights, civic engagement and judicial nominees, says Beatrice Kahn, the president of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), who will visit the Valley next week.

Kahn said the last issue is of particular importance since “judges sit for lifetime appointments and because they really determine most of our rights. A court will decide whether we can vote, whether we can have citizenship, whether you can marry, whether we can get health care and whether we can get employment.”
