LimmudAZ – a day of Jewish learning offering a buffet of workshops, discussions, performances and more – is scheduled for Feb. 8, 2015, at the Arizona State University Conference Center.

Limmud means “to learn” in Hebrew and the full-day gathering, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will offer multiple presentations and programs throughout the day led by a variety of presenters. Confirmed topics and presenters so far include “Archeology and Women in Ancient Israel” with archaeologist Beth Nakhai, an associate professor at the University of Arizona; “The History of Jews and Chocolate” with Rabbi Deborah Prinz, author of “On the Chocolate Trail”; and “Finding God in Hawaii,” with Allison Josephs, founder of Jew in the City.
