Last winter, on the eve of the year that would mark the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel, I participated in the Birthright trip that brought to life the legacy of my Jewish faith.

A nonprofit educational organization, Birthright sponsors free 10-day heritage trips to Israel for young adults of Jewish culture between the ages of 18 and 26. There are many different Jewish organizations that offer students this amazing opportunity, so you must decide which group you want to go with.
