Jewish-Muslim dialogue group forms for young adults

A group of young adults from the local Jewish and Muslim communities met for the first time last month as part of an effort to build bridges between the two communities.

“Essentially it’s getting to know each other as human beings,” said Rabbi Dr. Shmuly Yanklowitz, president and dean of Valley Beit Midrash, the organization behind the effort, in partnership with the Islamic Speakers Bureau.
