A fund started by a now defunct local Jewish community high school will be used for day school scholarships and to enhance security on the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus in Scottsdale.

In 2007, Jess Schwartz College Prep established a fund with the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix (JCF) with a $20,000 deposit. The school closed in 2011 and since then the fund has more than doubled, according to Richard Kasper, JCF president and CEO.
