George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” played in the background as around 200 attendees mingled and noshed in the social hall on the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus last Wednesday. They were there for the Legacy Celebration, organized by the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix, to honor the 2018 signers of the Endowment Book of Life and celebrate the success of the local Life & Legacy program.

The event’s keynote address was delivered by Rabbi Daniel Cohen, senior rabbi at Congregation Agudath Sholom in Stamford, Connecticut, and author of the book “What Will They Say About You When You’re Gone: Creating a Life of Legacy.”
