The Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix Board of Directors has named Marty Haberer as executive director of the organization. He joined the Federation in May of 2015 as its chief development officer, and his new role is effective immediately.

“The Federation is fortunate to have Marty Haberer as its new executive director. He has proven himself with all of our stakeholders as a person with passion for our mission, a unique focus on service to our community and has always acted with the highest degree of integrity and collaboration,” said Mark Feldman, board co-chair.

Haberer will work with the board and other lay leaders to increase support of the Federation and its value as a resource to the community.

“I am pleased and humbled to have been promoted by the board,” said Haberer. “I look forward to working with our leadership and partners to move the needle north for our organization and our Jewish community.”
