The East Valley JCC (EVJCC) is introducing a Jewish Teen Leadership Institute for students entering grades 9-11 in the fall. Ten East Valley Jewish teens will be accepted into the first cohort.

The program, expected to begin on Aug. 17, will include monthly workshops, team-building excursions, community service, a stipend award upon completion of the program and the opportunity for continued internship at the EVJCC.

The Teen Leadership Institute is an EVJCC program with support from BBYO, Temple Emanuel of Tempe, Temple Beth Sholom of the East Valley and the Hillel Jewish Student Center at Arizona State University.

This program is partially funded by a grant from the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix.

Applications are now open. To apply, visit evjcc.org. The deadline for applications is July 12.
