The East Valley JCC reopened its building July 10 after a pipe burst over Memorial Day weekend, flooding its building and forcing a temporary relocation.

Two inches of water covered the entire facility, damaging furniture and destroying the preschool’s toys. An extensive clean-up and restoration project was required and the EVJCC had to temporarily move its summer camp program and Early Childhood Learning Center to Hamilton High School in Chandler for five weeks.
