Duet: Partners in Health & Aging, a nonprofit interfaith organization, will hold a training session for its caregiver-to-caregiver mentor program noon-4 p.m. Monday, July 3, at Church of the Beatitudes, 555 W. Glendale Ave., Phoenix.

Caregiver mentor volunteers help isolated caregivers by providing emotional support from their own home. They receive free training to enhance active listening and communication skills; provide one-on-one support and helpful tips to another caregiver; and connect the caregiver to resources with the help of Duet staff.
