A Phoenix dentist and her husband recently traveled to two cities in Cuba for 10 days to learn about the Jewish community in each location.

Pnina Levine, D.D.S., and her husband, Alan Gold, visited both Havana and Santiago de Cuba in late December “to see and learn about the country, before traveling there becomes too commercial,” Levine said in an email to Jewish News. “It was quite an endeavor and one of the most interesting travel experiences of my entire life.”
