An exhibit that covers three 20th-century genocides is open to the public and runs through April 27 at Scottsdale Community College (SCC). The exhibit ushers in the fifth annual Genocide Awareness Week, which will take place from April 17 to 22 at SCC.
The traveling exhibit “delves deeply into the Armenian mass murders, which occurred in the early part of the century, the Holocaust perpetrated by Nazi Germany in the 1930s-40s and the Rwandan genocide in the mid-1990s,” according to the college, and features photos, archives and historical context for each period.
