In her short life, Eva Hesse escaped the Nazis and became a renowned sculptress in the 1960s before succumbing to brain cancer at the age of 34.

Her remarkable story is told in the new documentary, “Eva Hesse,” which is being screened on the international film circuit. The film will be shown on Nov. 27 at the Braggs Pie Factory (see details box). The screening is presented by No Festival Required (NFR), which hosts traveling programs throughout the Valley and nation.
