The unique ceramic works of artist Miriam Mladinov, a resident of the Valley since 2007, will be exhibited from Nov. 20 through Feb. 12, 2017 at the Sylvia Plotkin Museum and Gallery of Congregation Beth Israel.

For the exhibit, “Ceramic Costumes of Biblical Figures,” Mladinov has created a series of sculptural ceramic costumes inspired by biblical personas and contemporary artists. A graduate of the Art Academy in Rome, Italy where she focused on set and costume design, she explained that she is using “the same approach as designing for theater, only without actors and letting the costumes tell the story.”
