fell in love with Prescott during a group getaway last fall. The magnificent weather, the well-preserved historical buildings and much more combined to put Prescott in the gold standard of mid-sized towns I have visited.

Much as I appreciate the conveniences of group travel, the camaraderie and the learning involved, my most meaningful experiences are always made solo, simply by shpatziring or taking a stroll without any particular destination. As I wandered the streets of Prescott, in the back of my mind was a lingering thought – there must be a Jewish community in this city of about 40,000? How could I find it?
